Iota is proud to partner with the Stonecoast MFA Program at the University of Southern Maine to offer one full scholarship. Iota and Stonecoast share a commitment to offering access to quality instruction to writers in this rural part of the state. Applications will be reviewed by an impartial committee and the decision will be made based on the merit of the writing sample and a statement of need. Applicants must live in Washington County Maine at least nine months out of the year to be considered.


Scholarship applications must be received or postmarked by July 13, 2018. Recipients will be notified by July 30, 2018.
